On-Premise Deployment
YouTestMe is a complex server-based system. It consists of the:
Linux host operating system
Tomcat application server
PostgreSQL Database
Utility scripts
They are all part of one pre-configured Virtual Machine, also called the Virtual Appliance. Virtualization is a powerful enterprise software concept that greatly simplifies the distribution, installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex computer systems.
Deployment Enviroment
To run a virtual machine, a “hypervisor” software is required. YouTestMe is supported by the following major hypervisor software:

Note that the above requirements are for the YouTestMe virtual machine. To be installed on a workstation or small server, the physical machine should have at least 4 GB RAM and 50 GB free disk space more than the above-stated requirements. If you are installing VM on a “bare metal” server with hypervisors such as ESXi, the requirements above are applicable.

Delivery Options
The YouTestMe product for on-premise usage is delivered as an archive of OVF (Open Virtualization Format) packages or OVA (Open Virtual Appliance) files with the manual for the application installation and usage. The compressed virtualization files can be downloaded from the YouTestMe secure FTP server and deployed via hypervisor software in less than an hour.
