This article outlines the process for test organizers to enable a free rewrite, letting candidates retake the test with their current authorization. Typically, test authorization is granted upon purchase and is a one-time privilege. You can find more information on how to create test authorization in the following article. However, exceptions apply when candidates face issues, allowing the test organizer to offer a free rewrite.

Testing center dashboard #
The same action can also be carried out using the Testing center dashboard, and we will now provide a step-by-step explanation of how to do it.
- Navigate to Testing center page, and select the Candidates option.
- Go to Test attempts tab.
- Select desired test/ testing session.
- Locate the specific candidate on the specific test and click on the three dots next to their name.
- From the options presented, choose Remove Authorization to revoke their current test authorization.
- Select Suspend.
By following these steps, the used authorization will be released, allowing it to be used again for one additional test attempt.
