- Once you finish setting the question, click the Add to Pool button to save the question.
Creating a question with the By Combination Of Answers Scoring Method #
To create a multiple-choice question using the By Combination of Answers scoring method, follow the steps below:
- In the Create New Question dialog, navigate to the Grading and Duration Settings section. From the scoring method dropdown menu, choose By Combination of Answers.
- Click the Add Combination button.
- In the combination of answers dialog, specify the weight of the combination.
- Choose the answers to form the combination by using the + button.
- Click the Save button to include the created combination in the list of combinations.
Example:
- Create a multiple-choice question with five answers.
- Select the By the combination of answers scoring method.
- Limit the user to selecting only three answers.
- Create a combination carrying 4 points, specifying three correct answers.
- Establish a second combination with 2 points, requiring the selection of two correct answers.
In this example, candidates cannot mark more than three correct answers.
